：Inside Out； features, Chan Yu and Zhou Siwei, two of 82 Republic・s first four artists, who inspired the birth of the new ：republic；. Zhou Siwei's infective energy bursts through the surface of revered popular figures, from Mickey Mouse to Astro Boy. Meanwhile, Chan Yu brushes aside the external demands of the present and fixates on the ghostly dreams of the past.
The display also highlights three newer members of the 82 community: painters Mu Lei and Guo Hongwei, and sculptor Liu Jia. Mu Lei's grey-toned paintings strip away people・s hard outer shells and cut straight to the core, Guo Hongwei・s powerful childhood portraits are blurred by the internal workings of memory, and Liu Jia・s humanoid dog sculptures playfully expose the complex underlying tensions in even the most mundane relationships.
